About me

DI Michael Windisch started 2004 as an engineer at the AUVA - rehabilition hospital Weißer Hof in Klosterneuburg. He was the technical manager for the gaitanalyses laboratorys in Bad Häring, Tobelbad and Klosterneuburg. From 2005 to 2009 he was researcher at the Research Institute of Orthopaedics Engineering (FIOT) in Vienna.

In 2007 he started as a lecturer, 2009 as a full time lecturer and researcher at University of Applied Sciences (UAS) Technikum Wien in the Department Electronic Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. His research focus includes the electronic circuit design and control engineering of medical devices, biological signals and medical sensors. Since 2009 he coordinates the Medical and Hospital Engineering in the Department Biomedical Engineering.

Michael Windisch is the Deputy Head of the Department Biomedical, Health & Sports Engineering and Head of Biomedical Engineering and e-health.
